This notice explains how personal and supplier information is handled when you register, respond to sourcing opportunities or request support through the Econet Supplier Portal.

Last updated: 15 July 2026

Information we handle

We may process supplier account and contact details, organisation and compliance information, submitted documents, sourcing responses, questions, support requests, and technical or security logs created while you use the portal.

How information is used

Information is used to register and verify suppliers, secure portal access, administer sourcing events and submissions, provide support, communicate service updates, prevent fraud, maintain audit records, and meet contractual or legal obligations.

Who may receive it

Access is limited to authorised Econet procurement and operational teams, the backoffice Service Desk, approved service providers supporting the portal, and regulators or authorities where disclosure is legally required.

Security and retention

We use access controls, multi-factor authentication and secure session cookies to protect portal access. Records are retained only as long as needed for procurement, contract, support, audit, security and legal purposes under applicable retention requirements.

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law and procurement or contractual record-keeping requirements, you may ask to access or correct your personal information and may raise questions about its use. Use the portal Support Widget to submit a tracked request to the backoffice Service Desk.

For Econet's broader privacy practices, read the Econet Privacy Policy. External sites and services may apply their own privacy notices.
